# High level history of land sale Land purchase has been available to the public since Jan 2022 with parcels for sale on [OpenSea](https://opensea.io/collection/netvrkland). Parcels were categorized into five different sizes. A. Standard Land, 625 sq meters (0.15 acres) B. Medium Land, 5000 sq meters (1.24 acres) C. Large Land, 10,000 sq meters (2.47 acres) D. Giant Land, 20,000 sq meters (4.94 acres) E. Mega Land, 62,500 sq meters (15.44 acres) The original whitepaper listed utilities expected to be part of our metaverse for land. These included personal space, social spaces, advertising, renting, and commerce.
