# NetVRk DAO

The NetVRk DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) will function as the governing body of Netvrk. It will operate as a democratic republic and will consist of a commonwealth of citizens. To become a citizen, users must own a Netvrk land, transport, bonus pack or avatar NFT. Once citizenship is granted, users will have the ability to govern and vote on metaverse-related matters.
