NetVRk’s inaugural blockchain game, **Mine Runner**, is a nod to crypto mining, allowing users to delve into a dynamic cave system to earn NFTs and tokens while using their own personal NFT avatar. Armed with a pickaxe, players must navigate the creature-inhabited caverns of the NetVRk metaverse to mine for valuable resources while defending themselves from enemies.
#### Game Structure
The game consists of 25 sectors, with increased difficulty and higher rewards as the player progresses. As players advance through these sectors, they encounter more challenging enemies and more valuable resources, making the gameplay both engaging and rewarding.
#### Earning XP and Rewards
Players earn XP by successfully mining resources and defeating enemies. Along with XP, players will also earn Energy, which has several utilities in our metaverse. Using a crafted axe or one purchased from a marketplace can increase your Energy earnings. Each axe has unique attributes that enhance a player's mining efficiency and combat abilities within the game. Additionally, possessing one of these axes will enable you to start earning Metacrite, which can be exchanged for $NETVR.
#### Crafting and Minting an Axe
You can craft an axe within the game for 500 NetVRk Coins. These Coins can be purchased directly from the [Mine Runner site](https://minerunner.netvrk.co/treasury), with bonus Coins available for larger packages. Each axe is unique, providing different boosts and abilities that can significantly impact gameplay. After crafting an axe, you can choose to mint it on the Polygon network. We cover the minting fees, and once minted, the axe is yours to use, trade, or sell on marketplaces.
#### Using Axes
Players who own an axe can use it immediately within the Mine Runner game. These axes enhance the player's mining capabilities and provide combat advantages against in-game enemies. Using these axes is crucial for progressing through higher-level sectors and obtaining more valuable rewards.
