Portals/Teleports

In the fully realized metaverse, portals and teleports still exist to provide faster travel around the Genesis Islands. Some of these remain as part of game features and are in place to facilitate ease of entry into experiences. Others remain purely to allow ease of travel and will exact a toll in either prime or premium currency to incentivize the other transit systems in the world. Exploration and interaction with other players are one of the many goals of the metaverse, and using other forms of transit is one way the world approaches these goals.
